Making pancakes That are soft
The crepes are a breadlike breakfast food is often served with syrup, butter, icing sugar or jam. Many varieties of store-bought pancake mixes are available, but make your pancakes from scratch gives a fluffy finish. Although it takes a little practice to know exactly when to flip the pancakes cooking, once you know the signs to look for, you will be able to churn out easily, creating the perfect sponge cake each time.
instructions
1. Combine 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, a pinch of salt and 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour in a large bowl.
2. Whisk 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, one egg and 1 1/3 cups of milk in a small bowl. Pour the wet mixture into the large mixing bowl with the dry ingredients and combine to form a soft dough.
3. Heat a few tablespoons of butter in 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter on the griddle for each pancake.
4. Flip the pancake with a spatula after tiny bubbles appear across the top of the cake and the very edges are lightly browned.
5. Wait one or two minutes or until tortilla is cooked.
