When we receive the flowers, the first thing to do is put in water as soon as possible.
If the field we assembled ourselves, the cut must be diagonally at the end of the stem, this is to improve the capacity to absorb water.

Remove the leaves from the stem end, so that they are not submerged in the vase leaves. If it comes to roses, just remove the leaves, no thorns.
The ideal cut flowers, time is very early in the morning or late afternoon. Morning is when the flowers are fragrant and the plant is full of stored food.

A natural method, among the many methods for preserving cut flowers and is to prepare a mixture to place in the water in which the flowers are, and that helps to remain fresh, is to dilute, 3 tablespoons sugar and two vinegar, into 4 liters of warm water. Given the amount of water used in this mixture, serves to few vases, in the case of being short, the amounts have to be reduced, keeping the aspect ratio.

This mixture helps prolong the freshness of the flowers, because sugar feeds the flowers and vinegar prevents bacteria from growing in the water. Bacteria feed on the sap that seeps through the cut on the stem of the flower, when the flowers are placed in water, almost immediately begin to grow these bacteria. If they are not attacked, the cocoons are weakened and the leaves wither. So the acid in vinegar helps to combat them.
